Street Evangelization at Lewisburg Ice Festival – Feb. 2026

I took my coin ring setup for street evangelization to Lewisburg for the annual Ice Festival on February 6th. CJ and Heather joined me and a new friend named Brian who we met while Christmas Caroling at the hospital. It was such a fun evening, and we were all kept busy making rings and chatting with those who stopped by.

The highlight of the evening was a family of four who stopped and made a few rings. We got to talking, and they were Christians, and as they were finishing up, I asked if we could pray for them about anything. The mother paused and almost seemed to tremble, and then one of the daughters said, “we should pray for grandma.” They didn’t offer any more information, so I prayed for the family and their grandmother in a general manner, and it seemed to be a providential moment.

Not long before that though, I felt like I dropped the ball. A fellow tech teacher acquaintance from a neighboring school district stopped, and we talked about our classrooms while his son made a ring, and for some reason, even though I felt like God was gently asking me to, I just couldn’t bring myself to broach the topic of faith. I don’t know why–maybe I just thought it would be awkward. I’m not beating myself up over it, but I do wish I had been more quick to speak up, and I will try to do better the next time.

To that end, please pray for me and all we encounter, and for all those who still need to hear the gospel. Thanks!
